Thomas Wilke

After my apprenticeship of industrial business management assistant, I studied business and mechanical engineering at the university of Kaiserslautern and graduated with honours. My business focuses had been in the fields of work and organisation design, production management, and service management and marketing.

The subject of my diploma thesis at the chair of marketing of profesor Dr. Bliemel was “Integration of the External Factor in eServices”. Here I analysed the specialities of man and object in the course of electronically performed services.

After my studies I started as an SAP® Consultant for a renowned consulting firm, specializing on the field of foreign economics and customs. I worked in and led several customers project with SAP? R/3 and SAP? GRS GTS (Government, Risk and Compliance – Global Trade Services). Since 2005 I have been working successfully as freelancer consultant with my expertise in SAP? software in combination with foreign economics and customs.

As of my opinion, there cannot be mere IT consulting in this area; professional consulting can only be possible in combination with excellent business know-how. This is also one reason, why I call my service Business Technology Consulting.
